The QL700's signature trait is that it's Brother's fastest label maker, printing up to 93 labels per minute. But speed is just one of its many qualities. This machine is pre-loaded with our P-Touch Editor Lite, so there's no need to instal onto your PC or Mac. It also comes with the new Plug and Print capability, and has a range of designs already available through our Label Collection feature. The QL700 prints die cut labels or continuous length banners. It also has a built-in automatic cutter for quick and professional results. This device is not a plug-and-play device and will need software to be installed, depending on the operating system there are different ways to obtain this software. However, before they install the software or application they will need to disable the PTouch Lite functionality, if plugged into a Windows device the printer will show up as a disk drive rather than a label printer. To do this next to the status light there should be a light underneath the Editor Lite text, hold down the small button underneath this and wait for the light to turn off. Once it is turned off the software or application will be able to be installed on the customers PC. Depending on the version of Mac that the customer is using will be dependent on how to install the printer itself. If the OS is 10.14 and lower they will need to go to support.brother.com, go to the downloads section, find the printer and downlaod the PTouch Editor software. Once downloaded they will be able to run the dmg file, and once installed they will be able to find the printer and print from the software. If the OS is 10.15 and higher they will need to go to their Application store and find the PTouch Editor application. Once they have installed this, they can find the printer and print from the application. Since Mac OS 10.15, Mac has moved away from software-based applications and drivers, most software is now migrating and becoming applications instead. Like Mac OS 10.14 and lower the customer will need to go to the support.brother.com website, go to the download section and find the printer. Instead of downloading the PTouch Editor software the customer will need to choose the Software/Document installer and download this, once downloaded they will be able to run the install. This is because this software also has the printer driver installation as well and if not installed they will have an error in the PTouch software saying the supported drivers are not installed and will require and uninstall and reinstall to install the device correctly.

RETURNS & WARRANTY
Return Policy
We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase from IT Hub. If you are not satisfied, you may return the product within 7 days from the date of purchase, subject to the following conditions:
a. The product must be returned in its original condition, unopened, and with all original packaging, accessories, and documentation.
b. The Customer must obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number from IT Hub before returning the product.
c. The Customer is responsible for all shipping costs associated with the return, unless the return is due to an error on our part or a defective product.
d. Refunds will be issued in the original form of payment or via direct transfer.
Restocking Fee
A restocking fee of 20% will be applied to all returned products, except in cases where the return is due to an error on our part or a defective product.
Non-Return of Opened Software
Opened software cannot be returned or refunded unless it is found to be defective. In case of defective software, please contact our customer support to initiate the return process. Software compatibility is the responsibility of the Customer and is not deemed a cause of defective software.
